To our customers, vendors and supporters,

Like many of you, I've learned about George Floyd through news articles and videos which surfaced over the internet as the hours struck after his death. The sight of seeing the painful demise of a beautiful Black life over 8 minutes of begging for the officer to simply move his knee away from his neck was despicable. As a couple of days went by, I have listened to friends and family who are all saddened on the death of yet, another Black life, listened to our team on how they felt about racial inequality along with police brutality and listened to the outcry of injustice in our criminal justice system for Black Americans.

I want to make one thing clear on behalf of Tea and Milk, we stand in solidarity with all our brothers and sisters who are hurting, protesting, and fighting against discrimination, against racism, for equality, for unity, and for justice. We hear you and we are here for you because we love you!

As a company whose mission and values is to spread love and happiness with each cup of tea, we want to provide you with a platform to be heard! DM us on Instagram or email us at and we'll be there for you during these tough times! I cannot pretend to even start to know how Black America is feeling right now but I know that change is needed!

We are currently working towards a positive change, to support the movement and to unite everyone with love and kindness. As our DIY Bubble Tea kit was born during the Covid19 pandemic to help support what we saw was right, we will again use our kits for good! For all purchases of our Bubble Tea DIY Kit in the month of June, we will donate 15% of proceeds to NAACP who have been fighting for injustice since the beginning (we will also continue to donate drinks to hospitals and frontline workers on Mondays and Tuesdays).

As our values do not align or support with the current presidential administration, we will be adjusting our hours on election day for every single member of our team to cast their vote for a better future.

We can and will do better, United as the People with love!

As the late Martin Luther King Jr. have said "Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that" and we will continue to demonstrate the love that is needed to fight against discrimination, racial injustice, and hate.

With Love,

Mathew Wong
